Job Title: Residential Group Home Manager (Part-Time)

Salary: $20–$23/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

About Us:

Aspire Haven Homes is a small, community-focused residential care provider supporting youth with safe housing, stability, and compassionate care. We operate a two-youth home in London, Ontario, grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive support.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Residential Group Home Manager who brings strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for youth development. This role requires flexibility and frequent availability for shift coverage, staff support, and operational management. A key responsibility will also include marketing and outreach efforts to help maintain consistent youth placement in the home.

Key Responsibilities:

Home & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the group home in alignment with licensing and ministry standards
  • Lead and support staff, including creating schedules and coordinating shift coverage
  • Monitor the physical environment to ensure health, safety, and cleanliness
  • Manage petty cash, basic budgeting, and supplies for the home

Administrative Oversight

  • Coordinate timesheets and payroll with administrative support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation (including incident reports, staff logs, and resident files)
  • Submit Serious Occurrence Reports (SORs) as required

Resident Programming & Support

  • Support individualized care plans and structured routines for youth
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment
  • Respond to crises and model trauma-informed care practices

Marketing & Outreach

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners (e.g., CAS, school boards, social services)
  • Support marketing initiatives to increase visibility of Aspire Haven Homes
  • Conduct outreach to ensure consistent youth placement and maintain occupancy
  • Attend networking events or community forums as needed

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Social Services, Child and Youth Care, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience working in or managing a youth residential group home
  • Strong administrative and leadership skills, including experience with staffing, scheduling, and documentation
  • Knowledge of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA) and residential licensing standards
  • Comfortable with outreach, networking, and promoting services to stakeholders
  • Valid G Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
  • Current First Aid/CPR and CPI (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Assets:

  • Experience working with trauma-affected or high-needs youth
  • Strong cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
  • Experience using tools like Penelope or similar case management systems
