Satori Sushi & Sake Bar is a well-loved local favourite in Tauranga, serving up fusion-style sushi and exceptional service for over 15 years. We’re proud of our vibrant atmosphere, supportive team culture, and high standards. We’re looking for an experienced and energetic Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure every guest experience is memorable.

What We Offer:

• A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 45 hours during busy periods
• Set rosters released weekly
• Split shifts from Tuesday to Sunday (lunch and dinner service)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily restaurant and bar operations
• Take bookings, greet guests, and support floor service
• Plan and coordinate special events and functions
• Supervise, train, and support front-of-house and kitchen staff
• Order supplies, manage stock, and maintain accurate records
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling
• Work with chefs on menu planning and updates
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations
• Maintain high levels of customer service and team morale
• Build strong relationships with regular guests and new customers

What We’re Looking For:

· At least 2–3 years of hospitality experience, ideally in a supervisory or management role

· Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

· Solid understanding of food and beverage service operations

· Confident managing teams and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

· Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude

· Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, ordering processes, and basic financial tracking

Holding an LCQ or Duty Manager Certificate is a plus, but not required. We’re happy to support the right candidate to obtain these qualifications while working with us.
