Restaurant General Manager

General Manager, Restaurant Operations

Silid is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and results-driven General Manager to lead all facets of our high-volume restaurant. This role is responsible for driving revenue, cultivating exceptional guest experiences, developing our talent, and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Strategic Leadership & Financial Performance

  • Maximize Profitability: Set, manage, and consistently achieve aggressive sales goals and profitability targets by overseeing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing financial performance.
  • Financial Oversight: Analyze complex financial reports (P&L statements) to identify trends, make data-driven operational decisions, and execute effective cost-control measures.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute local marketing plans, promotional activities, and community engagement strategies to increase customer traffic and grow market share.
  • Crisis Management: Proactively manage and resolve all operational and customer crises, implementing effective contingency plans to ensure business continuity.

2. Operational Excellence & Customer Experience

  • Elevate Service Standards: Lead and manage all daily restaurant operations, ensuring strict alignment with brand standards, company policies, and local regulations.
  • Drive Guest Satisfaction: Champion strategies to consistently meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals, ensuring the prompt and effective resolution of all customer feedback and complaints.
  • Uphold Compliance: Guarantee uncompromising adherence to the highest standards of food quality, service, health, safety, and sanitation through regular audits and inspections.
  • Event Management: Plan, execute, and oversee in-store events, promotions, and special activities that enhance the customer experience and drive strategic sales objectives.

3. Talent Acquisition & Team Development

  • Culture Builder: Cultivate a positive, high-energy, and collaborative work environment that drives motivation, high performance, and exceptional employee retention.
  • Recruitment & Training: Lead the full talent lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to the comprehensive training and development of all staff, supervisors, and assistant managers.
  • Performance Management: Implement continuous performance management, providing regular coaching, mentorship, and conducting formal evaluations to foster career growth within the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven minimum of 3 years of progressive experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar senior leadership role, preferably within a high-volume or fast-paced dining environment.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and persuasive communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, motivate, and coach a diverse team.
  • Knowledge: Strong comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, advanced financial management principles, P&L analysis, and local health/safety regulations.
  • Education (Preferred): Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Work Environment

  • A dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment requiring a hands-on management approach and frequent, direct interaction with both staff and customers.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cavite: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
