Restaurant Supervisor/Assistant Manager

We are looking for a strong, reliable Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Kilberry restaurant. It is busy, high-energy local restaurant focused on great food, cocktails and service.

This is not just a “senior waiter” role.

You will be responsible for running the floor, supporting the team and making sure every shift runs properly.

What you’ll be doing

• Running shifts and supporting the team during busy service
• Ensuring smooth, fast and organised service at all times
• Checking that all opening and closing procedures are completed properly
• Making sure daily checklists are actually done
• Leading by example on the floor and working alongside the team
• Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Managing bookings, WhatsApp messages and customer enquiries
• Supporting organisation of group bookings and events
• Communicating with kitchen and bar to keep service flowing

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 year experience in a restaurant supervisor role (not fast food)
• Strong English and confident communication skills
• Someone organised, proactive and able to take responsibility
• A team player who can also keep staff focused and accountable
• Ability to stay calm and in control in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Someone who takes pride in doing things properly

We are a busy restaurant.

We need someone who works with the team, but also makes sure standards are followed.
