About the Role

We are currently recruiting Part-Time Retail Sales Assistants to work across multiple Tesco supermarket locations throughout County Kildare, County Meath (including Navan), and County Cavan. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy variety in their workday, thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, and are comfortable travelling between store locations as part of their daily role.

Successful candidates will be assigned to 3 to 4 nearby Tesco stores across their designated county zone, covering shifts on a roster basis. You will start your shift at one store and travel to the next as required. Candidates who live in or around County Kildare, County Meath, Navan, or County Cavan are strongly encouraged to apply, as local knowledge and easy access to store locations is a significant advantage in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent Sysgenix professionally across multiple Tesco store locations in your assigned area
• Travel between 3 to 4 nearby Tesco stores within your designated county zone (Kildare, Meath/Navan, or Cavan) as per daily roster requirements
• Welcome and assist Tesco customers in a friendly, professional manner at all times
• Replenish and merchandise shelves, ensuring products are well-stocked, correctly faced, and accurately priced
• Maintain excellent store standards including cleanliness and presentation across all assigned locations
• Assist with goods-in, stock rotation, and date checking in line with Tesco food safety and hygiene guidelines
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns in a calm and efficient manner
• Support promotional displays, seasonal changeovers, and in-store marketing setups
• Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies to the store supervisor
• Follow all Tesco store health & safety policies and procedures at every location
• Liaise with each store's supervisor on arrival and complete required tasks as directed

Multi-Store Coverage — What to Expect

• You will be assigned a zone of 3 to 4 Tesco stores located in and around your home county — covering locations across County Kildare, County Meath (including Navan), and County Cavan
• Your daily roster will specify which store(s) you are covering that day
• Travel between stores is required — candidates must be comfortable commuting between nearby towns and locations within their assigned county zone
• A valid Irish driving licence and access to your own vehicle is strongly preferred — given the spread of store locations across these counties, having your own transport is the most practical and reliable way to fulfil this role
• Rosters are issued in advance so you can plan your travel accordingly

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

• Lives in or around County Kildare, County Meath, Navan, or County Cavan — or within easy commuting distance of store locations in these areas
• Flexible and comfortable working across multiple store locations on a weekly roster
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively when travelling between stores
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident engaging with customers and store managers
• Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Eligible to work in Ireland

Desirable:

• Previous experience in retail, supermarket, or a similar customer-facing role (full training provided for the right candidate)
• Familiarity with Tesco store operations, systems, or product ranges
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP awareness an advantage)
• Valid Irish driving licence and own vehicle — strongly preferred for reliable multi-store travel across Kildare, Meath, and Cavan

Working Hours

• Contract Type: Part-time, flexible roster-based scheduling
• Availability: Must be available across the full working week (Monday to Sunday)
• Shifts: Varies weekly — morning, afternoon, and evening shifts across multiple Tesco locations
• Roster: Issued weekly in advance — covering shift times and store locations for each day
