Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate and Design Consultant to join our flooring retail team. Duties
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Guide clients through the selection of flooring products (hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet)
- Offer design advice based on client needs, style preferences, and space requirements.
- Educate customers on product features, installation options, warranties, and maintenance.
- Prepare quotes, process transactions, and follow up on leads and sales.
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom with up-to-date displays and samples.
- Build strong relationships with new and repeat customers to drive sales and referrals.
- Coordinate with installers and contractors when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product trends, promotions, and industry updates.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and RFMS software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend availability required.
- Valid Driver?s License and reliable transportation for In-Home visits
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in design or business is a plus.
- Strong eye for color, space, and design aesthetics.
- Background in flooring or construction.
