Room Attendant Team Member

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring that every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces to maintain a tidy environment.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors in guest rooms and hallways.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
• Assist with the cleaning of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms as required.
• Follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred; experience in hospitality settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
