Job Responsibilities:
- Perform Ranch/plant safety inspections and complaince to Fed/State regulations
- Assist with safety rules implementation
- Maintain current safety programs
- Deliver and conduct safety training for managers, crew supervisors and department leads
- Prepare summaries regarding in-house safety audits and injury investigations
- Conduct injury investigation for Field/Plant
- Conduct new hire and refresher training
- Process injury claims while working with Human Resource Clerk
- Process new hire paperwork for field personnel
- Meet compliance and reporting of federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
Bilingual (Eng/Spa) a plus
Prior experience handling compliance to Fed/OSHA, Cal/OSHA, DOL and other governmental agency regulations
Ability to perform audits, inspections, training, identify and correct hazards, etc.
Detail-orientated and focused on reducing accidents, injuries, and workplace violence.
Handle accident/incident investigation, medical treatment, corrective actions, and maintain excellent records.
Prefer someone who lives in the Kerman, CA area
Pay Range: Min ($18.50) to Max ($20.00)
This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above. If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
