We are looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Manager to help shape the future of Dutch healthcare by leading our commercial efforts in the Netherlands. As only the third member of our growing Dutch team, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Platform24’s growth and ensuring our solutions benefit as many citizens, patients, and care providers as possible.
With a deep understanding of our products and customers’ needs, you will represent Platform24 authoritatively in the market—generating leads, building, and nurturing strong client relationships. You’ll actively explore new business opportunities, execute pre-sales and sales activities, and craft innovative strategies to generate leads and build our presence.
You will work as part of both our Dutch team and our international Commercial team, collaborating closely across borders. Together, we support each other to meet our goals and overcome challenges. As we build our business in the Netherlands step-by-step, your consultative and tailored approach will ensure we provide solutions that truly fit each customer—never a one-size-fits-all offering.
Key responsibilities include:
New Customer Acquisition
- Identify and approach potential customers (hospitals, healthcare organizations, and care providers) for Platform24.
- Conduct impactful sales presentations, tailored product demos, and commercial negotiations to secure new contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing and demand generation to develop and execute lead-generation strategies and materials.
Business Development & Networking
- Explore new business opportunities (tenders, market segments, grants, partnerships, etc.).
- Build, expand, and nurture a network of stakeholders across the Dutch healthcare ecosystem.
- Develop compelling business cases for emerging customer segments.
- Actively represent Platform24 at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
Strategic & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure our solutions match customer needs and market demands—including relaying customer insights to influence priorities.
- Develop and execute effective sales plans, from market analysis to actionable sales strategies aligned with national and company goals.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships based on trust, collaboration, and partnership.
What you bring:
- 5+ years’ proven experience in customer-facing roles (business development, sales, account management, or customer success), ideally within healthcare
- Deep knowledge of the Dutch healthcare landscape and IT ecosystem. Existing network in hospitals or specialist care is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to independently initiate and drive sales processes, develop and execute lead-generation campaigns, and close deals.
- A consultative, solution-oriented approach: You know every customer is unique, and thrive on tailoring proposals—never relying on standard product packaging.
- Strategic mindset and commercial acumen: able to develop sales plans, identify new opportunities, and drive results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Team player, hungry to learn, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally to Stockholm for in-person meetings, training, and industry events.
- Energy, drive, and a positive, can-do mindset—you get things done and are passionate about improving healthcare efficiency, quality, and accessibility.
