Job Summary: The Sales Manager for Heavy Equipment (excavators) is responsible for leading the sales efforts, developing strategies, and managing the sales team to achieve the company's sales objectives in the trucks and heavy equipment sector. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends in the trucks and heavy equipment industry.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set performance goals, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews for the sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and projects.
- Sales Operations:
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trucks and heavy equipment sector.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and generate leads.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market developments and business opportunities.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management review.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the trucks and heavy equipment industry.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
