Sales Merchandiser Leinster

Charles Hughes Ltd. (Portwest), a leading manufacturer of outdoor clothing and supplier of Portwest workwear, safety wear and PPE is now seeking applications for the position of Sales Merchandiser based in the Leinster Region. Portwest designs, manufactures and distributes market leading workwear, safety wear, footwear and PPE. Charles Hughes Ltd. manages the Irish retail and distribution channels of Portwest, supplying over 1200 customers and employing 100 people in Ireland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to our retail customers throughout the region
• Build new retail displays as required
• Arrange visual merchandising and maintenance of product displays
• Sales order processing
• Provide general customer service, advice and support .
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Complete call reports and keep management informed of any issues as they arise.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous experience as a merchandiser and/or in sales role is highly desirable
• Ability to work on own initiative without supervision
• Self starter with high energy and enthusiasm for what can be a physically demanding role.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Good IT skills
• Full, clean driving licence
