Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the landscaping industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new leads, developing client relationships, and closing sales to promote our landscaping services. You will play a vital role in expanding our customer base and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers in the target market through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their landscaping needs, and providing suitable solutions.
- Conduct site visits and consultations with clients to gather their wants and needs and how we can achieve their visions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotes that effectively communicate the value of our services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project handover, while exceeding customer expectations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the company's presence and network.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the landscaping or related industry; 3 - 5 years' experience required.
- Willingness to give quotes on the weekends as needed and after 5 PM when necessary, to accommodate our clients' schedules and needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of landscaping principles, services, and products.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Experience with design/quoting via apps and software's so that a landscaping design project/quote can be put together.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation:
- Base salary $40,000 - $150,000
- 3-5 % commission on all jobs closed
**Other bonuses or compensation would be at the discretion of the owner and are not part of the salary or commission listed above.
