Sales Representative - Heavy Duty Truck Sales

Summary: Kenworth Ontario is currently looking to add to our success-driven new and used truck sales team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospect new customers from an existing territory as well as maintain contact with existing customers
• Maintain customer service excellence and customer satisfaction
• Sell new vehicles to obtain dealership profit
• Examine and analyze actions for improvement to best manage time effectively
• Keep abreast of changes and updates to the trucking industry – new products, features, accessories, and benefits to the customers
• Work closely with the service department in order to acquaint customers with the service team
• Successfully complete formal sales training if applicable

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in equipment sales, heavy duty truck sales, or auto sales is a MUST
• Knowledge of heavy duty trucks/equipment
• Mechanic understandings, or the willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to use a computer effectively
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven to build trust and maintain relationships
• Comfortable talking on the telephone and making cold calls
• Demonstrates professionalism
• Ability to hold technical conversations regarding truck sales
• Bilingualism

Pay: $47,429.76-$133,874.36 per year
