Sales Representative - Ici

Soleno designs, manufactures, and distributes high quality products to control and manage rainwater efficiently, ecologically, and sustainably. We operate several manufacturing and distribution facilities in Quebec and the Maritimes. We are looking for an Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) Sales Representative for the Eastern Ontario (Cornwall to Peterborough) and Northern Ontario regions.

Reporting to the ICI Sales Manager, you will:

• Use convincing assertions to present, promote and sell solutions, products and services to existing and potential customers
• Conduct cost-benefit and needs analysis to meet the requirements of existing and potential customers
• Establish, cultivate, and maintain positive business relationships
• Bring a network of construction industry contacts, including general contractors and related stakeholders
• Coordinate sales activities with team members and other departments
• Engage customers, prospects, general contractors and other key individuals on job sites to promote the Soleno brand
• Analyze territory and market potential, monitor sales and status reports
• Manage supplies and produce reports on customer needs, issues, interests, commercial activities and potential for new products and services
• Keep up to date on best practices and promotional trends
• Representing the company in various industry activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Solid knowledge of the construction industry and sales (mandatory)
• Proficiency with CRM, ERP systems and MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills with strong leadership and a flair for innovation
• Highly organized and able to perform well under pressure in a custom manufacturing environment
• Willingness to be present on job sites and travel frequently
