General Manager – Zoomies (Dublin)

We are now looking for a warm, caring, hands-on General Manager who can hit the ground running and oversee all day-to-day operations of our busy grooming & daycare facility.

Role Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of running the salon, including:

• Delivering an amazing customer experience
• Managing and supporting the grooming and daycare teams
• Overseeing daily operations, rotas, and workflow
• Driving revenue and achieving monthly targets
• Ensuring the facility looks and feels absolutely first-class every day
• Maintaining a safe, clean, welcoming environment for pets and owners
• Being the friendly, reliable face of the business

This is a high-impact role where the right person will play a major part in shaping the success and culture of Zoomies Dublin.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience

• Be the first point of contact for customers — friendly, warm, engaging.
• Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Zoomies standard.
• Handle bookings, queries, and feedback professionally.
• Oversee check-in / check-out processes and ensure smooth daily flow.
• Build strong relationships with our loyal Zoomies community.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee the full daily running of the salon and daycare.
• Create and manage rotas for groomers, daycare staff, and support roles.
• Ensure a smooth grooming schedule and daily playgroup coordination.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Monitor supplies and products; manage ordering and inventory.

Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of groomers and carers.
• Conduct daily briefs and weekly performance check-ins.
• Support training, onboarding, and skill development.
• Foster a positive, supportive culture where staff love coming to work.

Performance & Commercial Focus

• Achieve monthly sales targets for grooming and daycare.
• Track KPIs including revenue, utilisation, rebook rates & reviews.
• Ensure rotas align with capacity and productivity goals.
• Work with the founder to implement growth initiatives.
• Manage budgets, labour costs, and day-to-day expenses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
