Join AbbVie as our Senior Brand Manager in Neuroscience!
Are you a strategic Brand Manager seeking an opportunity to drive meaningful change? As our Senior Brand Manager, you will take ownership of your portfolio, leveraging your expertise to develop and execute impactful commercial strategies that advance brand goals. In this role, you’ll champion the integration of stakeholder insights to craft patient-focused approaches, while ensuring strong management of commercial activities to maximize sales and profitability.
What you'll do:
- Own and lead the go market commercial brand strategy.
- Collaborate with Brand Team and In-Field Team members, facilitate cross-stakeholder discussions (with Health Care Professional (HCP) and non-HCP stakeholders) and synthesize the insights gained to identify segments, to determine brand positioning, to drive Close Loop Marketing engagement.
- Responsible for segmenting a market, selecting optimal target audience and positioning effectively for the target segment.
- Apply market dynamics to analyze the product forecast (final & promotion).
- Create high-impact promotional campaigns that support objectives, are based on deep customer insights and executed to brand excellence standards.
- Secure input and cross stakeholder viewpoints in order to develop a robust and accurate stakeholder journey; purpose strategic objectives for the Brand Team review based on Stakeholder Journey finding and challenge and critique Brand Team strategies in order to ensure patient-centricity.
- Lead the design and implementation of all marketing activities and include innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities and multi-stakeholder initiatives in order to meet strategic brand objectives.
- Ensure all in-field materials, strategies and tactics are aligned in order to drive momentum of strategic brand objectives.
- Ensure Brand Team members contribute to the development of the Brand strategy through the Brand Planning process in line with strategy defined by Global Brand Team, and ensure adequate involvement of multiple functions as relevant for the Brand objectives.
- Ensure timely product performance reporting through monthly report to relevant channels.
Qualifications
Relevant third level qualification.- Preferable experience in sales and brand management.
- Experience of product management at different stages of life cycle.
- Proven track record in managing complex programmes and initiatives.
- Excellent selling and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate and sell in a highly scientific area.
- Demonstrated customer orientation and natural relationship building capability.
- Proven ability to work in matrix structure.
- Ability to manage competing demands.
- Knowledge of the healthcare system in Ireland, including deep knowledge of the therapeutic area.
- Learns fast, grasps the ‘essence’ and can change the course quickly where indicted.
- Ability to translate strategies into accountable and realistic marketing actions.
- Ability to lead motivate and coordinate cross functional teams.
- Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo
