Senior Designer, Stockholm (Contractor)

What you will do

As a Senior Designer in our Consumer Incentives domain, you'll be pivotal in shaping engaging user experiences that drive customer acquisition and app engagement through innovative incentive offerings.

Your work will focus on integrating cashback, referrals and deal features into the shopping journey, optimizing product-discovery flows, and embedding consumer feedback mechanisms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to expand Klarna's presence in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, aligning design solutions with strategic business goals and evolving user expectations.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in product design

• Proven experience designing across mobile and web platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design.

• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and research methodologies.

• Strong proficiency with Figma and a clear approach to working with design systems.

• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align design work with product and business strategy.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills within diverse, global teams.

• Demonstrated ability to incorporate feedback loops and usability insights into design work.

Awesome to have

• Experience working on consumer apps in the shopping, e-commerce, or fintech space.

• Experience in designing for incentives, rewards, or affiliate-based consumer products.

• Familiarity with global market design nuances (North America, Europe, Asia Pacific).

• Background in A/B testing or iterative experimentation in product design.

• Comfort with data-driven design and working with product analytics tools.
