Role Summary
The Senior Manager/ Director of Product Management and Marketing is responsible for driving the successful introduction of new products, expanding the penetration and distribution of existing products, and ensuring strong commercial alignment across the region. This role leads regional Product Management, Pricing, and Marketing activities to ensure the company adapts efficiently to market and customer requirements. The role drives data-centric and digital solutions to deliver faster, more accurate outcomes and elevate processes to best-in-class standards. The position has full leadership responsibility for Product Management, Pricing, and Marketing teams in Southeast Asia (SEA), with functional (dotted-line) leadership of Product and Pricing teams in Japan, Korea, and Australia. The role reports directly to the Head of Aftermarket – Rest of Asia, with a functional reporting line to the Global Head of Product Management and Marketing.
Main Tasks
Product Management
- Own and drive the regional product portfolio strategy, including application coverage, lifecycle planning, and market fit.
- Lead New Product Introductions (NPI), from application research through launch execution.
- Oversee product lifecycle management to maximize profitability and relevance.
- Ensure high standards of catalog accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, operations, and global teams to define product features, specifications, and value propositions.
- Lead application and product research to identify market gaps and opportunities.
Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Develop and execute regional pricing strategies aligned with competitive positioning and financial targets.
- Define price lists and pricing governance.
- Implement and manage pricing tools and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor pricing performance and support sales teams with insights and recommendations.
Marketing, Branding & Go-to-Market
- Develop and execute regional brand strategies for all Aftermarket brands.
- Lead brand management, positioning, and consistent brand application across channels.
- Manage advertising and promotions across online and offline media, including social media.
- Drive trade marketing initiatives across retail, wholesale distribution, and eCommerce.
- Own channel marketing strategies to support customer acquisition, engagement, and growth.
- Oversee promotional materials and marketing collateral tailored to regional market needs.
Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
Education/Major:
- Degree level and a strong working knowledge of the Industrial and Automotive markets is a pre-requisite for this position.
Experiences:
- Possess minimum 15 years related experience with a good technical understanding of automotive and industrial filtration products, with at least 5 years’ leadership experience.
- Technical experience in the automotive aftermarket and/or heavy machinery industry is a major advantage.
- Working experience in a multi-national company and matrix organization in related industries and within APAC region. MANN+HUMMEL - General

Knowledge & Skills:
- Good technical background.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Foreign language/Computer ability:
- Fluent in both written and oral English. 3rd language within the APAC region (e.g. Mandarin) is advantageous.
- High level at MS software.
- Experience leveraging digital tools to improve product, pricing, and marketing processes.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable commercial and strategic outcomes.
