MatchMove is a profitable Singapore-based fintech leader and a pioneer in Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS). Our proprietary Banking Wallet OS™ enables enterprises to embed accounts, cards, payments, and loans directly into their digital ecosystems. With double-digit year-on-year growth and billions in transactions processed, we are redefining the intersection of traditional banking and modern commerce.
Recognized with the Frost & Sullivan’s 2025 Singapore Enabling Technology Leadership Recognition, MatchMove is an AI-first organization. We don’t just use AI; we weave it into the fabric of our regulated financial services to drive innovation, security, and inclusive digital transformation across Asia.
Role Overview:
As Senior Product Manager — Cards & Accounts, you will own the product definition, roadmap execution, and release quality for our Cards vertical. You will work in close partnership with the Product Lead for Cards & Accounts, operating as a high-trust collaborator who takes meaningful scope independently while staying deeply aligned on direction and priorities.
Alongside Cards, you will be a significant contributor to the ongoing rebuild of the Accounts charter — working hand-in-hand with the existing product will lead to reposition wallets, stored-value accounts, and multi-currency ledgers as a commercially distinct product surface for B2B tenants. This is a collaborative ground-up rebuild, and your contribution to its direction, product thinking, and execution will be material.
You will operate in a deeply technical, multi-tenant environment where your direct customer is a developer or platform integrator, and where AI is increasingly central — both as a capability we embed into the platform and as a tool you use every day to move faster and think more rigorously.
Opportunity To:
Own the Cards product roadmap as a dedicated senior PM — working alongside the Product Lead to define, prioritise, and execute the charter that underpins the platform's most critical product line.- Be a meaningful contributor to the Accounts charter rebuild — partnering with the existing product lead to redefine the product narrative, shape the feature roadmap, and help establish accounts as a standalone embedded finance product surface.
- Shape the product strategy for virtual and physical card issuance, card controls, 3DS, spend management, card lifecycle APIs, and the developer experience around them.
- Design API-first product specifications — working directly with engineering leads and solutions architects to evolve webhook contracts, state models, error semantics, and tenant-facing developer experience.
- Contribute to making the platform AI-ready — helping define product surfaces, APIs, and data contracts that enable tenants to embed and build AI-powered experiences on top of MatchMove infrastructure.
- Leverage AI tooling across your own workflow — accelerating research, prototyping, UI wireframing, and program management so you operate at a significantly higher throughput than the traditional PM function.
- Drive the full release lifecycle from tenant discovery and PRD through to GA, developer documentation, and commercial enablement materials.
- Represent the product in enterprise tenant engagements, translating platform capability into clear integration and commercial value propositions.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Product Lead to maintain and evolve the Cards & Accounts roadmap — managing prioritisation across tenant needs, regulatory obligations, platform scalability, and commercial direction in a multi-tenant BaaS environment.- Contribute significantly to the Accounts charter rebuild alongside the existing product lead — driving product thinking, writing specifications, shaping positioning, and owning execution on agreed workstreams within the charter.
- Write crisp, implementation-ready PRDs and API design specifications — your artefacts are the primary input to engineering squads and must be precise enough to build from without extensive back-and-forth.
- Own the complete feature lifecycle: discovery, scoping, acceptance criteria, UAT coordination, release notes, and tenant communication.
- Identify and close product gaps in the Cards vertical — table-stakes parity items, velocity improvements, and net-new capabilities that open new tenant segments or deepen existing ones.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Legal on regulatory requirements, scheme rules, and cross-border obligations that intersect with card and account product decisions.
- Partner with Sales and Solutions to translate roadmap intent into tenant-facing collateral, integration guides, and go-to-market narratives.
- Drive AI readiness across Cards and Accounts product surfaces — ensuring APIs, events, and data models are designed to support AI-driven use cases by tenants and internal teams.
- Define and maintain product metrics for the Cards & Accounts vertical — transaction success rates, decline analysis, activation funnels, and tenant satisfaction signals.
- Raise the product quality bar across the team — contributing to PM craft, reviewing specifications, and helping establish rigorous standards for product artefacts.
AI Fluency & Platform Readiness:
MatchMove is investing in making its platform AI-ready for tenants and internal teams alike. The Senior PM — Cards & Accounts will play a direct role in shaping what that means for the product surfaces they own. Equally importantly, we expect this person to operate as an AI-native PM — using available tooling to work at a higher level of depth and speed than the traditional PM function allows.
Platform AI readiness — Help define APIs, event schemas, and data contracts that enable tenants to build AI-powered experiences on top of Cards and Accounts infrastructure- Research & discovery — Use AI to accelerate market research, competitor analysis, and tenant insight synthesis — compressing days of research into hours
- Program management — Apply AI tooling to track delivery, surface blockers, generate status summaries, and keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned with minimal overhead
- UI design & prototyping — Use generative design and prototyping tools to produce low-to-mid fidelity wireframes and flows independently, without always depending on a designer resource
We are not looking for someone who is AI-curious. We are looking for someone who already uses AI as a core part of how they work and can help raise the floor for the broader product team.
Requirements:
6+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in fintech or financial services — ideally cards, payments, or embedded finance.- Deep domain expertise in card issuance: virtual/physical card lifecycle, card controls, 3DS authentication, dispute management, BIN sponsorship constraints, and Visa/Mastercard scheme compliance.
- Demonstrated experience building or managing API-first or platform products — you understand REST, webhooks, event schemas, and multi-tenant API design well enough to write meaningful specifications and challenge engineering trade-offs.
- Proven ability to operate effectively as a collaborative contributor on a d charter — comfortable owning significant workstreams within a broader product area without needing to be the sole decision-maker.
- Proven ability to operate in a regulated environment — comfortable with Regulatory requirements, KYC/KYB flows, AML obligations, and scheme rule obligations as they intersect with product decisions.
- Demonstrable AI fluency — active, practical use of AI tools for research, writing, prototyping, program management, or design as part of your day-to-day PM workflow.
- Track record of owning a strategically significant product charter or vertical — shaping roadmap direction and defending trade-offs with engineering, commercial, and compliance stakeholders.
- Experience with product repositioning or charter rebuild exercises — ability to audit an existing capability, contribute to its redefined positioning, and build a rigorous forward roadmap.
- Strong written communication — PRDs, product specs, and stakeholder communications must be precise, unambiguous, and implementation-ready.
- Ability to work effectively as a partner to a senior product lead — high trust, low friction, capable of operating independently within a d direction.
- Comfort working across a distributed, multi-cultural engineering organisation, translating between technical constraints and business requirements with equal fluency.
- Experience with B2B SaaS or BaaS products where the direct customer is a developer or technical integrator is strongly preferred.
