Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout while managing multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while mentoring project teams and helping strengthen company processes as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and cost control.
• Review and interpret project manuals, specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
• Develop scopes of work and trade packages utilizing CSI MasterFormat.
• Conduct owner, architect, and contractor (OAC) meetings.
• Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions.
• Ensure accurate documentation utilizing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and company management systems.
• Oversee change order management, billing, project reporting, and project financial performance.
• Maintain a strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Leadership Responsibilities

As a senior leader within the Construction Department, you will also:

• Mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Help establish and improve company standards, systems, and best practices.
• Promote consistency across projects and project teams.
• Foster a culture built on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Assist leadership with operational initiatives as the company continues to expand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects for a General Contractor.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods.
• Extensive knowledge of project manuals, specifications, contracts, and construction documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of CSI MasterFormat.
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or comparable construction management platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time leadership position based in our Knoxville office.

Our team operates in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, responsiveness, and accountability are essential. While schedules vary depending on project demands, this position typically requires a minimum commitment of approximately 50 hours per week to successfully support our clients and projects.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
