Brief Summary:
Join a dynamic team as a Senior Project Manager, where you will lead large-scale construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring adherence to project objectives and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project execution to achieve project objectives and SEQDC targets.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, including project managers and engineers.
- Develop and implement project execution strategies, resource plans, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor project advancement, ensuring milestones and contractual obligations are met.
- Foster a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and environmental standards.
- Manage quality assurance processes to meet project specifications and client expectations.
- Administer project budgets, including forecasting and cost control, and manage commercial risks.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and communication with all relevant parties.
- Ensure all necessary statutory approvals, permits, and inspections are obtained.
- Provide comprehensive project reporting on safety, quality, budget, risks, and performance metrics.
- Lead project commissioning, handover, and closeout activities.
- Assist in business development and pre-construction planning activities as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, including 10 years in project management and leadership roles.
- Proven experience in successfully delivering at least two construction projects with contract values exceeding S$300 million.
- Extensive background in managing large-scale developments across various sectors.
- Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate complex stakeholder relations.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, risk management, procurement, and cost management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering on SEQDC performance objectives.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
