Contractor scheme/freelancer/W8 for a full time job

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a PMP certification and strong background in Manufacturing and Supply Chain. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in multiple project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and experience as a Business Analyst. This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage projects across multiple business units while presenting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve objectives, ensuring accountability and adherence to project milestones.
  • Own the full project lifecycle, from initiation through deployment, for major and multiple minor initiatives simultaneously.
  • Manage multiple projects or programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Track and report project success metrics, risks, issues, and deliverables to leadership.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.
  • Prepare detailed project estimates, plans, and schedules.
  • Procure and manage project resources, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate status, dependencies, and risks across stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, changes, and quality control throughout SDLC.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, and vendors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP certification and Agile training/certification required.
  • 10+ years of experience managing projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • 5+ years of experience gathering business requirements and documenting processes.
  • Strong experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
  • Proficiency in project management and productivity tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Planview, Clarity PPM, ServiceNow, SmartSheet, Lucid Chart).
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executive sponsors, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing project budgets.
