Job Description

Total Rewards & Mobility Operations

  • Coordinate and submit data for compensation surveys; perform market benchmarking and best practice research to support Total Rewards strategies.
  • Support annual performance calibration and compensation cycles, including salary and bonus reviews.
  • Provide salary recommendations for new hires, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness through collaboration with TA and HRBPs
  • Ensure Total Rewards policies are clearly documented, governed and effectively communicated to employee groups.
  • Drive employee communications and engagement efforts for Total Rewards initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate with IT, Payroll, and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of rewards in accordance with approved compensation structures.
  • Support HR audits and risk management activities as required.

Rewards Partnering, Policy Review & Analytics

  • Translate business needs into actionable analytical insights to drive Total Rewards design and decisions using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Design and maintain scalable analytical models to support compensation planning, workforce cost forecasting, and policy simulations.
  • Develop and maintain interactive compensation dashboards in Tableau, leveraging data leveraging data directly from enterprise data warehouse environments to enable near real-time insights for stakeholders.
  • Build models and tools to support data-driven Total Rewards decisions and policy proposals.
  • Conduct regular policy effectiveness reviews and impact analysis (e.g., crew variable pay, payroll data trends).
  • Respond to market trends, regulatory updates, and business needs with relevant and business-centric Total Rewards solutions.
  • Conduct job evaluations using the Mercer IPE methodology to ensure accurate job sizing, internal alignment, and governance of grading structures.

Project Management & Operational Excellence

  • Drive or support Total Rewards process automation and digitalisation initiatives to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in HR OKR-driven cross-functional teams (CFTs) to contribute to enterprise HR objectives.
  • Support ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Foster team development through active knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members where applicable.

Industrial Relations Support

  • Prepare data-driven reports, presentations and analysis for internal stakeholders and union partners.
  • Support modelling and data analysis for Collective Agreement (CA) renewals and union negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Workforce Analytics, or related analytical HR roles.
  • Experience in building and maintaining automated Tableau dashboards connected to enterprise data sources, with working knowledge of data querying or programming languages for data extraction and transformation.
  • Strong analytical and modelling capability, with experience performing cost simulations, pay modelling, and policy impact analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, business-centric insights.
  • High level of attention to detail, data integrity, and governance awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
