Senior Tekla Steel Detailer

ACS Ltd is a BIM Service provider to the Construction industry, specialising in Structural Steel Modelling & Detailing, Architectural Modelling & Detailing and MEP Coordination. We utilise the latest BIM technology software to create and coordinate our models. We work on a wide variety of projects in Ireland and the UK. Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Tekla Steel Detailer to join our dynamic team. Applicants should have a strong desire and commitment to learning new technologies in an exciting environment and have excellent attention to detail. Applicants should have a third level qualification in an engineering discipline and have experience in using Tekla Structures Steel Detailing Software.

Key Responsibilities:

· work as part of a team on a wide variety of structural steelwork projects.

· Interpret Consulting Engineers & Architects designs and generate RFI's where required.

· 3D Modelling of steel structures and Detailing steel connections using Tekla Structures.

· Produce General Arrangement Drawings and Fabrication Drawings.

· Liaise with clients and design teams

· Lead and mentor steel detailers within the organisation

Key Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

· Experience in the use of Tekla Structures Steel Detailing Software

· Good communication and project management skills.

· Be able to meet strict deadlines

· Have excellent attention to detail
