Server/Bartender

Overview

Holy Basil Pho is looking for reliable and responsible staff. Our Front of House staff rotates through server, cashier, bartender (must be 21+), food runner, and busser. We work together to get the job done.

We are looking for people who:

are punctual and have weekdays & weekends availability for dinner (4:00pm - 8:30pm)

reliable and responsible

have restaurant and customer service experience

have strong teamwork skills and are able to follow instructions

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly service while taking orders and answering questions about our food.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service as needed.
• Manage inventory, including ordering stock when necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper math skills for processing payments.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Server and/or Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.89 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
