Server/Cashier

Position Purpose

The Server/Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accurately handling customer transactions. This role ensures a positive dining experience while maintaining efficiency and accuracy at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and drinks promptly and according to service standards
• Operate the cash register or POS system and process payments accurately
• Issue receipts and handle cash, card, or digital transactions
• Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies, if any
• Assist customers with inquiries, requests, or concerns
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and cashier area
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and correct orders
• Follow company policies, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a server or cashier is an advantage but not required
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
