Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role involves both serving customers and handling transactions, ensuring a seamless experience from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and kitchen.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations throughout all food handling processes.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
