Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Prepare simple food items or assist in food preparation to ensure timely service
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and following food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, serving, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Ensure all food safety regulations are followed to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests
• Support team members with food prep, stocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary experience is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
• Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety standards within the food industry or grocery store setting

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
