Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and food prep stations in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Upsell menu items by recommending specials or popular dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Support food handling procedures, bussing tables, and ensuring a tidy environment for customers’ comfort.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining high-quality customer service.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations are essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail setting will support your success in this role.

Pay: $7.25 - $25.00 per hour
