Server/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders promptly.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments.
• Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety and handling standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Ability to take initiative during slow shifts and do listed side work or duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant is required. Sushi restaurant experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary basics.
• Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Familiarity with Clover system is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Outgoing personality that can work well in a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for providing outstanding service and enhancing the customer experience.
• Looking for someone with open availability with working one weekend as a requirement (Friday - Sunday)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
