Server/Cashier/Drivethru

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong skills in POS systems, cash handling, and upselling. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service, customer interaction, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions quickly and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity
• Assist customers with food ordering, including upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed during transactions
• Operate the Drive Thru, taking orders, packing selected menu items and cash transaction handling
• Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Support food preparation and serving staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and improve customer satisfaction
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant cashiering preferred; knowledge of the food industry is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing basic calculations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
• Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure prompt service
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic understanding of upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities
• Kitchen or food preparation experience is advantageous but not required
• Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
