The Service Delivery Coordinator ensures that Baker Hughes maximizes its short and long term revenue, profit and cash collection opportunity by ensuring flawless execution, on time delivery and contract adherence for the assigned jobs. This position will coordinate the required job activities across organizational boundaries to ensure Baker Hughes execute the job in line with customer expectations and contract terms and conditions.


As our Service Delivery Coordinator you will also be responsible for:

  • Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillars.
  • Ensuring the assigned contracts/quotes are fully understood and capitalized upon.
  • Planning and preparing detailed well specific drilling and completion fluid programs based on field experiences, well specific challenges and applied drilling and completion fluids engineering. Including hydraulic simulations, recommend application and cleaning effects of wash pills and displacements.
  • Analysing of drilling & completion fluids, solids control optimization and offshore drilling waste management services such that minimum fluid volumes are consumed, and minimum waste(s) are generated.
  • Planning for minimizing waste generation; providing information on expected waste volumes, product concentrations and all relevant fluid properties to support waste management contractors involved in the drilling and well activity.
  • Pre-planning of the solids control strategy for the well including detailed plan for shaker screen selection based on offset well data including proposal for shaker screen stock supply.
  • Responsible for inventory control, field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics. Interface with the customer service managers on issues escalation. Develop long range forecast for region resource needs. Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Bachelors or Masters in an engineering or science related subject such as Petroleum Engineering or Chemistry etc
  • Significant years’ experience in Drilling and completion fluids and chemicals
  • Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Considerable skills in project management methodology in daily working practice additionally
  • Functional use of MS Office Suite, with MS Project
  • Leadership, interpersonal, influencing and planning skills
  • Excellent Norwegian or English oral and written communications skills
