A new concept by The Lo & Behold Group and Chef Mirko Febbrile.
The new concept is part of The Lo and Behold Group, a hospitality company known for its ability to create timeless destinations and thought-leading experiences.
As a team, we are very passionate about the potential our industry has in shaping a city and take great pride in grooming the next generation of hospitality leaders. We build career paths around the individual, develop training modules both in-house and out, and design incentives and recognition programmes to ensure that good work always pays off.
Each intern will participate for a minimum of 24 weeks, 44 hours weekly, during which the intern will have the chance to experience the proceedings and ethics of a high-end restaurant as well as participate in the daily operations. The intern will also be closely monitored by a designated mentor and trained by the staff at the restaurant.
The work we do translates into lasting memories and moments that shape our guests' experience of the city. You will be directly involved in Making Our City More Lovable, through everyday opportunities for intentional hospitality.
Quality Control
- Interns will assist in maintaining high standards of service quality and consistency by following service protocols and conducting regular checks on guest satisfaction.
Table Service Techniques
- Interns will learn advanced techniques in table service, including order taking, plate presentation, and synchronized service.
Customer Interaction
- Interns will interact with guests, ensuring their needs are met and gathering feedback to improve service.
Professional Development
- Interns will have access to mentorship and guidance from experienced servers and managers. They will receive feedback on their performance, set goals for improvement, and develop valuable skills for a career in hospitality.
Menu Knowledge
- Interns will learn the details of the restaurant's menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Team Collaboration
- Interns will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service and ensure smooth operations.
We love people who:
- Go above and beyond to make someone else's day
- Are thoughtful and kind, while upholding high standards
- Own outcomes and drive solutions
- Are ever-curious and always learning
