Service Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto service management and dealership experience, ensuring exceptional customer service while overseeing the daily operations of the service team. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and strong leadership skills to drive performance and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
• Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue from services offered, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, and more.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including auto estimating and service writing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Foster strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with sales teams to promote automotive services and enhance overall dealership performance.

Skills

• Proven experience in dealership settings with a focus on auto service management.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including transmissions, diesel engine repair, air brakes, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, and auto body repair.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in cash handling and managing financial transactions within a service department.
