Colm Quinn BMW has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join our award-winning team. As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Aftersales Department, ensuring that every customer receives the premium experience expected from the BMW and Colm Quinn brands.

This pivotal role combines leadership, operational excellence, and a strong customer focus. You will be responsible for managing our Service Advisors and Workshop team, driving efficiency, and ensuring all service and repair needs are handled with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Service Department team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Oversee customer bookings, ensuring seamless communication from arrival to handover.
  • Liaise closely with the Workshop Controller to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of jobs.
  • Manage and monitor department performance, KPIs, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards at all times.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, resolving escalated concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Support the wider management team in driving growth and profitability of the Aftersales business.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in a Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor role within a franchise dealership (premium brand experience advantageous).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of automotive technology and workshop processes.
  • Experience with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS (Rev 8) is highly desirable.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining brand standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €38,553.53 per year

Experience:

  • Service Advisor: 2 years (preferred)
  • Leadership: 2 years (preferred)
