Job Summary

Cheri and Cheri Healthcare are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team of residential Social Care workers and support workers. At a minimum one of the assigned staff present on site at all times must hold:

• BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7/8) The second and all additional assigned staff must hold one of the following:
• BA (Ord) in Social Care Practice (Level 7/8)
• The National Diploma in Childcare awarded by HETAC
• The National Diploma in Applied Social Care Studies awarded by HETAC
• The Diploma in Social Care awarded by HETAC
• The Diploma in Applied Social Studies / Social Care
• National Diploma in Applied Social Studies (Disabilities), the Open Training College (HETAC Accredited)
• Youth and Community Work qualification
• BA(Hons) Youth and Community Development
• BA (Hons) Psychology
• Addiction Studies
• BA (Hons) Counselling and Addiction Studies
• Disability Diploma (Primary Degree)
• Degree in Social Science an equivalent social care qualification
• Family Support Practitioner [Certification for a relevant qualification at a minimum of level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (NFQ) in the areas of family support, social care, childcare, education, etc. OR an equivalent nationally recognised qualification or a higher award in the areas of family support, social care, childcare, education, etc. AND a suitable standard of professional attainments and c) the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of office
• Professional Qualification in Teaching (Not TEFL)
• Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
• QQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural Analysis
• QQI Level 7 in Early Years Care where centre caters for children under 12 years.
• BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
• Holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From €38,000.00 per year
