Social Media Manager

We aren't looking for someone to sit in an office and manage an "aesthetic" grid. We need a creator who is happy to put on a pair of work boots, head out to our active job sites, and capture the real work we do.

Your goal is to turn technical plumbing and heating jobs—boiler installs, home renovations, and emergency repairs—into engaging, educational, and high-performance content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Content Capture: Travel to 2–3 sites across Cork each week to film high-quality "Before & After" footage, time-lapses of installs, and quick "expert tips" from our team.

• Video First: Focus heavily on short-form video (Reels/TikTok). You should know how to hook a viewer in the first 3 seconds.

• The "Human" Element: Help our team feel comfortable on camera to build trust with our local Cork customer base.

• Scheduling & Captions: Edit the day's footage into a week’s worth of content, write clear captions with local SEO (mentioning areas like Douglas, Ballincollig, Carrigaline, etc.), and schedule posts.

• Engagement: Respond to local queries and comments in the "Cork voice"—helpful, professional, and down-to-earth.

Requirements

• Content Obsessed: You must have a portfolio or a personal feed that proves you can shoot and edit engaging video. We want a creator, not just a "poster."

• Transport is Essential: You must have your own reliable car and a full clean driving license to travel between sites (Mileage will be reimbursed).

• Equipment: Proficiency with a smartphone/camera and mobile editing apps (CapCut, Lightroom, etc.).

• Reliability: You’ll be representing our brand on-site with customers; professionalism and punctuality are non-negotiable.

• Interest in the Trade: You don’t need to be a plumber, but you should be curious enough to learn why a "High-Efficiency Condensing Boiler" is a big deal so you can explain it to our audience.
