Social Media Marketing Intern

foptics is a leading optical eyewear company based in Singapore, dedicated to providing stylish and ultra affordable (at 39.90 ALL-IN!) optical eyewear to our customers. We are looking for a creative and passionate Part-Time Social Media Content Creator to join our team and help us connect to our Millenials and Gen Z audiance, and grow our content presence on major social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging, on-brand (sometimes crazy) content that connects with our audience. If you’re a social media enthusiast with a knack for storytelling, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a love for fashion and eyewear, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality, visually appealing content (photos, videos, reels, stories, etc.) for foptics.
• Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, especially in current affairs, fashion and lifestyle, and incorporate them into your content strategy.
• Brand Representation: Ensure all content aligns with foptics’ fun and on-trend brand identity, values, and messaging.
• Engagement: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative campaigns to grow our audience and engagement.
• Platform Management: Schedule and post content across platforms, ensuring consistency and optimal timing for maximum reach.
• Analytics: Monitor and analyze content performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing goals.

Qualities We’re Looking For:

• Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize and execute visually edgy and engaging content.
• Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and their best practices.
• Fashion Sense: A good eye for style, trends, and aesthetics, especially in the context of fashion.
• Storytelling Skills: Ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with Millenials and Gen Z.
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) and social media scheduling tools.
• Self-Motivated: Proactive, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team Player: Collaborative and open to feedback, with strong communication skills.

Requirements:

• Must be based in Singapore.
• Comfortable in front of camera.
• Prior experience in social media content creation, photography, or videography is preferred but not required.
• Access to basic content creation tools (e.g., smartphone with a good camera, editing software, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
• Ability to commit to part-time hours (flexible schedule).
