About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tester Intern (QA Intern) who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn real-world software quality assurance. You will work closely with developers and product owners to ensure our web and mobile applications are reliable, user-friendly, and bug-free.

This is a fully remote internship with hands-on exposure to live products and real production issues.

Key Responsibilities

Understand product requirements and user flows

Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans

Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications

Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira / GitHub Issues (or similar)

Re-test fixes and perform regression testing

Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues

Perform basic API testing

Document test results and quality metrics

Required Skills

Basic understanding of software testing concepts

Knowledge of SDLC and STLC

Ability to write clear and structured test cases

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail

Basic understanding of web applications (HTML, browsers, APIs – high level)

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues)

Basic knowledge of API testing tools (Postman)

Exposure to automation testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress – beginner level)

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology
