Solutions Engineer Intern

Job Description

This is a 6-month full-time internship. Please apply only if you're available full-time for the entire duration.
About HackerRank: We are revolutionizing technical hiring by giving companies a skills-based hiring platform that enables our customers to assess technical skills effectively. This is an intern position and you can work from anywhere in India remotely. This internship provides an opportunity to work in a customer-facing technical role. The intern will learn about the HackerRank products, hone their presentation skills and gain exposure to customers. A successful candidate will have a background in computer engineering and will be familiar with at least one programming language

You will be working on:

• Conduct product training and host technical workshops/presentations with customers.
• Help our customers hire the right talent by being a Trusted advisor. Responsibilities include -
  • Highlight the most important skills in a job description
  • Identify the right questions from the HackerRank Library to test those skills
  • Create relevant screening-tests for candidates applying for technical roles
• Answer technical questions about Library content, HackerRank Screen and HackerRank Interview products
• Help prepare and design the Solution Engineering slides for Quarterly Business Review presentations

We are looking for:

• Technical background with software development experience - recent Computer Engineering / Computer Science graduate
• Familiar with at least one object-oriented programming language
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively explain concepts to both, technical and non-technical audiences
• Be able to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies
• Exposure to APIs
