About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to be part of a team dedicated to providing a seamless and integrated service to the community of South Taranaki. As Practice Manager you will be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe management of the primary care operation within South Taranaki Rural Health.
Your focus will be on ensuring that the well being of our patients and staff is a priority. You will provide leadership to the team, support ongoing development of services and manage the financial resources required to maintain a successful rural practice.

About the Team/Service/ Location
South Taranaki Rural Health General Practice has an enrolled population of approximately 3000 patients and is located within Hawera Hospital. The practice is supported by a team of General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Improvement practitioners and an amazing team of administrators who are all very passionate about the service they provided to this community.

About you
The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate about rural health and have an understanding of the priorities outlined in the Rural Health Strategy 2023
- Have proven experience in a Practice Manager role
- Have a relevant qualification in business management, healthcare administration or a related field
- Have experience leading and managing teams.
