We are currently seeking a full-time permanent staff member to join our Urban Design team based at our offices in Sunshine.


The role

Reporting to the Geospatial Coordinator, we are seeking a talented Spatial and Data Analyst who can bring their expertise and leadership to:


  • Lead the development, maintenance, and optimisation of spatial data systems and databases
  • Design and implement spatial data workflows, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Deliver advanced spatial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members within the GIS function
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into spatial solutions


To be considered you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a spatial or GIS analyst role
  • Advanced proficiency in GIS platforms (Preferably Esri ArcGIS or similar) and spatial data management
  • Strong experience in spatial analysis, modelling, and workflow development
  • Experience managing and administering spatial databases (SQL Server)
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders
  • Local government experience is desirable
