About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Account Manager to join our high-performing respiratory team. Reporting into the National Sales Manager, you will have full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within your territory; providing a consistent, science led and value- added service for respiratory Clinicians to support best treatment outcomes for patients.

Your territory will cover Qld South.

Your role will be varied and will include:

  • Implementing comprehensive key account plans to drive value and deliver growth
  • Supporting the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market
  • Ensuring that key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated and informed to support the patient journey and enhance the quality use of medicines
  • Working in partnership with GSK commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Significant experience in hospital specialist or key account manager positions, with an applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment
  • Experience and knowledge of the respiratory therapeutic area would be preferred
  • Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders
  • An aptitude for science, with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format
  • A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
