Steel Painter/Loader Lead

Met-Con, a trusted name in structural steel fabrication and erection, is seeking a Paint/Loading Lead to join our Florida team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing paint and loading operations, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and training team members in the paint and loading departments
• Overseeing daily operations to meet project deadlines and quality standards
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and AISC specifications
• Performing QA/QC checks and maintaining accurate documentation
• Coordinating shipping and loading activities with internal teams
• Supporting corrective action and performance management processes

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in structural steel painting and/or loading
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of AISC painting standards and QA/QC practices
• Familiarity with production software like EPMgo (preferred)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A safety-first mindset and a positive, team-focused attitude
