Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and controlling inventory levels to minimize shrinkage.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team performance.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices are followed.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, cashiering, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
- Recruit, interview, and hire staff while providing ongoing support and supervision to team members.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and purchasing decisions.
- Monitor store performance metrics such as retail math calculations, pricing strategies, and sales management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and familiarity with inventory control processes.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies that drive sales in a retail setting is desirable.
- Experience in budgeting and financial oversight within a retail context is beneficial.

Pay: From $19.24 per hour
