Job Description
As a Strategic Operations Intern at NCS, you will gain exposure to how a large technology organisation runs and transforms its business. You’ll work on NCS-wide initiatives that cut across people, processes, and systems, and learn how strategic decisions are translated into day-to-day operations.
This role is suitable for students who enjoy problem-solving, are curious about how organisations operate at scale, and want to build a strong foundation in business operations and transformation.
Impactful Projects
You will support NCS-wide Strategic Operations projects that have an impact on business operations, organisational processes, people initiatives, and enterprise systems. These projects are designed to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and overall business performance.
What you will learn
- How corporate and business teams collaborate to enable smooth operations across NCS
- Fundamentals of business operations and operational governance in a large organisation
- Exposure to transformation initiatives that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability
- How process improvements and system changes support business outcomes
- Stakeholder engagement across multiple corporate functions and business units
Your responsibilities
- Support Strategic Operations initiatives and project activities
- Work with corporate functions and business teams to gather inputs and track deliverables
- Assist in documenting processes, workflows, and improvement opportunities
- Help coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and capture action items
- Support analysis and reporting for operational and transformation projects
Qualifications
- Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline
- Driven and proactive, with the ability to think independently and work well in teams
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Basic familiarity with SharePoint and/or Salesforce is an advantage, but not mandatory
