Student Advancement Intern

Job Description

Feenix is looking for a student advancement intern to assist the team with moderating and assisting students with online profile creation. The Intern will also assist the student advancement coordinator with the execution of student support activities for Feenix.

Responsibilities (including, but not exclusive to):
Moderate student profiles and check the documentation submitted by students as part of the Feenix student registration process
Liaise directly with students via email, telephone and WhatsApp when additional documentation or information is needed
Update student profiles as requested on the backend of Feenix platform
Direct requests or unresolved queries to relevant parties/departments
Provide weekly and monthly feedback on moderation progress (profile status, issues, queries, etc)
Track all queries using the platforms and tools provided by Feenix (e.g. Zendesk, Little Green Light)
Assist the Student Advancement Coordinator with additional tasks as needed (moderating frontend of website, student recruitment etc.)
General admin support
Elevate the Feenix Brand – drive communication that is authentic, simple and transparent
Reports to: Senior student advancement coordinator
Employment type: Full-time, 12-month internship (1st July 2023 - 30th July 2024)
Location: The intern will be required to work in the office. Area: Woodstock, Cape Town.
Stipend: R4500 per month

REQUIREMENTS
A tertiary education qualification (degree or diploma).
Must be a South African citizen.
Preference will be given to individuals from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
Have never held a full-time position before (this is a FirstJob opportunity) and preferably have not participated in a learnership or internship before.
Live within 40 km of our offices/site, which is situated in Woodstock, Cape Town.
Are you willing to participate in a credit and criminal check or any industry-specific checks required for the job.
