The centralized Treasury department in Basel ensures optimal financing and appropriate liquidity of the Group and its affiliates. It is responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities for the entire Roche Group. Within the treasury department, the Back Office and Digital Treasury team manages the master data maintenance and transaction processing on the global treasury SAP system.

In this team, your key role and responsibilities will include:

• Processing in-house and third-party bank transactions (e.g. money market, securities, derivatives and FX deals)

• Creating and maintaining master data in the global SAP system and supporting the centralized month-end close process

• Assisting the team with their ongoing projects and eventually leading on treasury related projects (new regulations, integration to other finance areas, automation of processes)

• You are currently enrolled in university (Bachelor/ Master), or you finished your Master studies in the last 12 months prior to the start date, ideally in the field of: Finance, Accounting or Economics.

• Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.

• You should be a good team-player and have a proactive mindset.

• You must be eager to learn new knowledge and be able to apply it quickly

Please note, due to regulations, non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents, and must be continuously enrolled in their university program for the whole duration of this internship.
