Summer Intern - Mfg Eng

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees

• Assist in daily activities related to time studies and entry of manufacturing standards into QAD

• Assist in daily activities related to plant layout for various OMG facilities in Agawam

• As required, additional facilities-related projects, including interface with internal and external team members to provide necessary analysis and information. Assist in maintaining project records and progress reporting

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering/manufacturing engineering/mechanical engineering or related field.

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, focus and influence.

• Some ability with project planning and project management skills for large-scale, long duration projects. Ability to provide update presentations to small and medium sized groups of management, in-person and remote formats.

• Some ability to work positively/effectively across an organization and with customers/external support resources.

• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and tools, reach with hands and arms, regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to work and contribute as part of a team.
