Supervisor

Durga Maa Enterprises Limited is seeking reliable and customer-focused Supervisors to support the day-to-day operations of our service station in Gisborne. This is a hands-on role that involves assisting staff, serving customers, and ensuring daily tasks are carried out smoothly during each shift.

Key Duties:

• Support the Manager/Director with routine day-to-day shop operations during allocated shifts.

• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

• Serve customers at the counter and ensure a high standard of customer service at all times.

• Assist staff during busy periods and ensure tasks are completed as required.

• Handle customer enquiries and assist in resolving basic complaints promptly.

• Assist with receiving stock deliveries and restocking shelves.

• Carry out regular stock checks and report low stock levels.

• Ensure products are correctly priced, displayed, and kept tidy.

• Assist with basic cash handling, EFTPOS transactions, and end-of-shift cash checks.

• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security standards are maintained on the shop floor.

• Ensure staff follow workplace procedures and health and safety requirements.

• Perform general shop duties as required to support daily operations.

Hours and Pay:

• Minimum of 30 hours per week

• Pay rate: $24 – $27 per hour

Other Requirements:

• Previous retail or service station experience is preferred but not essential (full training provided)

• Availability to work weekends and flexibility to work across trading hours (4:00am – 11:00pm)

• Good communication and customer service skills.
